| Thallus pale fawn, thin, smooth, somewhat glossy. Ascomata immersed, initially visible as pale parallel lines on the surface, opening to expose the brown epihymenium, straight, curved or sinuous, 1–6 mm long, 0.2–0.3 mm wide. Proper exciple indistinct, red-brown at the base. Hymenium 80–100 µm thick, I+ pale blue-violet. Ascospores 8 per ascus, muriform,
7–9 × 2–3-locular, 29–50 × 8–10 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |
